As we reach a point of crisis in our world, wise help is available, if we will only listen. This crisis calls for nothing short of solutions created from the depth of spiritual perspective. Who are these Masters of Wisdom and their mentor Maitreya, the World Teacher, and why are they coming forth now? Ideas have been brought forth that seem to align with Ageless Wisdom Teachings, based on equitable sharing of resources and cooperation. Alex has been active in the metaphysical community for decades. This is an overview of the Lucumi tradition of Cuban Ifa, commonly referred to as Santeria. It will cover the basic beliefs (including ancestor reverence), the Gods, the forces of nature (Orisha), how the religion is practiced on a daily basis, and the Initiations. There will be time set aside for questions and answers.
Joy, Olorisha (Santera) Omi Lasa, is an initiated priestess of Regla de Ocha. For over 30 years she has studied and learned from the spirits and ancestors of the planet and from the Indigenous people of the Americas, Cuba and Africa. Joy has journeyed to Africa and been recognized as a Kontoumble Gatekeeper (Shaman) by the Dagara people.
Joy continues to develop her skills as a priestess, medium, healer, drum maker, and artist. Traveling and teaching for over 25 years, her workshops give the participants an opportunity to experience and learn from the cosmology and mythology of the indigenous people of the Earth.
