The Soul and Its Imposter
Saturday 5:30-7:20 PM...Room 208
Humanity's Dawning Hour (workshop fee $10)
Go to the lecture The Soul and Its Imposter. When walking the spiritual path, an understanding of the soul is extremely important. In the Esoteric Philosophy, the soul is viewed as one's true identity, and it seeks to express itself through the personality (ego). Yet, it is important to realize that there is an imposterof the soul residing within each of us. The Imposter is an aspect of the personality that deceptively appears spiritual, but is a wolf in sheep's attire. In this talk, William Meader will closely examine the nature of the soul and how to distinguish it from the imposter. In addition, he will discuss the battle the soul periodically faces as it attempts to gain mastery over the imposter and its deceptive tendencies.
In the workshop William will reveal that the soul has the power to reveal humanity's essential oneness. Indeed, this is the creative destiny of every human soul. At this remarkable time in history, humanity is approaching a doorway leading into a new and golden era. Yet, the burning-ground of world crises must be traversed before we can, together, pass through that door. In this unique presentation, noted author and renowned teacher, William Meader, will discuss how the soul's creative insights can help us to navigate through this period of global upheaval as a prelude to humanity's dawning hour.
For more than 20 years, acclaimed author William Meader has been a student and teacher of the Ageless Wisdom (also known as the Perennial Philosophy). From his remarkable insight into creative living, he has become internationally renowned for clarifying the spiritual purpose of life to countless numbers of people. He does this by teaching the means to recognize the soul deep within, as well as by providing methods to more effectively express the soul in one's daily life.
At this critical time in human history, William emphasizes the importance of becoming the "Practical Mystic." To him, a practical mystic is one who is inwardly conscious of his/her soul (and its intention), while at the same time outwardly contributes to humanity's upliftment. Practical Mysticism is an approach to spiritual living that blends the mystical dimension of life with reason and practical action. As an exemplification of the Practical Mystic, he shows how this approach to spirituality is possible for everyone. This type of inspirational teaching has gained him widespread recognition.
In addition to his dedicated spiritual service, William Meader has a degree in Business Management, an advanced degree in the behavioral sciences, and several years experience as a psychology professor. He also has experience as a business educator, offering a variety of staff development seminars and workshops to the business community. He currently teaches and lectures in the United States, Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. He lives in Oregon.
